Physics & Math Learning Lab (PMLL) is a tuition centre located in the East, that focuses on Physics and Math tuition for Secondary and JC. In PMLL, we only engage ex-MOE teachers as our tutors. Our tutors being led by our Chief tutors Mr Andrew Kang (ex-Senior teacher, Physics) and Mr Marcus Kuek (ex-HOD/Mathematics in Chung Cheng High and Catholic High School).

About Andrew
Andrew was a Senior Teacher (Physics / Science) in MOE who is always superbly passionate about the teaching of Physics. He infused brain-based strategies & intriguing demonstrations into his lessons to help students remember key concepts more effectively and to make learning more meaningful & enjoyable. In his 15 years of teaching in MOE, he has guided and mentored the younger teachers to excel in their craft of teaching. During his 3 year stint at MOE HQ, he was actively involving in the training of our school teachers to help level them up in the area of subject mastery, content & pedagogy. His Physics classes always scored very high percentage of distinctions, sometimes almost double that of the national average. One year, there was one class of 40 students that almost scored full distinctions, except for one B3!
He was also appreciated & remembered by students for constantly motivating them to be positive and to achieve their very best!
About Marcus
A former Head of Department in Chung Cheng High (Main) and Catholic High School, and subject head in Serangoon Junior College. One of his milestone changes for Catholic High School was alignment and reviewing the curriculum for the Integrated Programme as well as developing the Talent Development Programme for Mathematics.
Marcus also has remarkable experience of having spent 4 years in Curriculum Planning and Development Division (CPDD) in MOE HQ. During his stint in CPDD, he was actively involved in the training of Secondary and Junior College teachers to level up their teaching competency and content knowledge. He is well-versed with the subject's demands across the Secondary to JC in both IP and non-IP tracks. His unique blend of curriculum design, pedagogy and assessment lends a special angle not found in other classrooms.
Known for his friendly and humorous demeanour, he fosters good relationships with his students, making it easy for them to approach him for help. As a caring and dedicated teacher, his patience accompanied with his forte in teaching mathematics has helped many of his students achieve excellent results.
